David Yokeex 1Movie Review–8/22/04 I recently saw the movie Starsky & Hutch. It is a parady of the TV series that aired back in the 70’s. Starky (Ben Stiller) is a cop who over shoots the mark in his police work, trying to live up to the legacy and reputation his mother had in the police force. Hutch (Owen Wilson) is a cop who abuses his police work to make his own profit and is well know on the streets as a friend to crime lords. The two are pared together as a last chance for both parties, and they are given an assignment to investigate a murder case tied to a drug lord played by Vince Vaughn. The movie was funny although the plot was too simple and some of the situations were a little naughty. The movie does a good job at making fun of the 70’s which are always good for a laugh. Snoop Dogg also plays a role as the leader of a gain, and does a wonderful comedic role. Overall the movie was worth seeing and a good laugh through and through. Links to this Page
