ending the year with a competition was an opportunity for you to make use of the many different ways of thinking and making you have been exposed to during exercises 1-5. exercise 6 asked you to:

- distil the ideas behind each proposal into a compelling set of images, texts, and graphics that read clearly on the entry board, making a clear visual argument for your proposition.

reflect back over the exercise.

identify at least three ways in which this competition challenged you.
in what ways did it test or extend your skills?
do you think you were able to leverage what you learned in previous exercises, and especially, in exercise 5?

part II
how would you evaluate your own board based on the three criteria used by the review panel? what are its specific strengths? and what would you do differently next time?

1. Readable intentions (both in terms of the design proposal (task formulation) and presentation)
2. Strength of the design itself: a. Innovation in solutions and b. depth of issues considered
3. Strength of the presentation: a. Innovative / thoughtful use of media and techniques (if any), and b. balance between clarity and richness in presentation
