CoWeb, coolex, Squeak and Swiki: What are they?

CoWeb stands for Collaborative On-line WEBstudio. The basic idea behind CoWeb is that any page is directly editable by any reader of that page and that any editor can create pages in the website.

coolex is the CoWeb site for the CFY class 2007-2008.

Squeak is the computer language CoWeb was written from. It is a new and highly-portable form of the Smalltalk programming language.

CoWeb was also called Swiki in the old days as in Squeak-Wiki where Wiki (WikiWikiWeb) is the very very first CoWeb invented.
