If you have any questions, please post them here.

how do we know what to search for to create a bibliography if we have no specific topic?

If you keep reading the library 101 assignment, there is a description of the task. You are researching the impacts of hurricane Katrina on the city of New Orleans.

If we are researching the "social" part of this assignment, what kind of information/media should we compile? Are you looking for statistics, or photos, etc?
Are we allowed to use wikipedia because it is the one place that has a lot of information right at our fingertips? Are you looking for a series of images as our presentation accompanied by text?
Geoff has abandoned us. Ohh My God who will save us?
Where are we supposed to save our powerpoints for tomorrow?

Sorry everyone... I am recovering from a midterm review.

The social group should respond to the assignment as listed on coolx. It describes the social group as follows:
Demographic portrait focusing on race, class, gender, ethnicity, age, workforce, civil society.
Respond as you feel best.

Wikipedia is a good source for an overview. It is unacceptable for your project. We cannot cite that as a source of information. More on this during preceptorial.

All of the powerpoints will be images, graphs, and visual representations. Your text will be you speaking.

I made folders in the work area of the 1060 folder. Save your powerpoints there. Also bring another copy to class, just in case you can't access the folder.

Thanks!- See you all tomorrow.

can we use notes (ie. like a notecard) when presenting?
are we supposed to post anything in the folder other than the powerpoints?

Of course you can use notes. Just remember the presentations are less than a minute per person.

We will talk about what should be in the folder during preceptorial
