Organizing Information
Store collected images, articles, and most importantly their bibliography (sources) on our section course folder. If you are connected to the COA network, you should be able to access.

In Architecture Building Connected to COA network:
  • Type in: \\gtcoa.coa.ad.gatech.edu and Enter
  • Go to Courses folder
  • Find a folder called: COA-1060-D-200708
  • Folder is subdivided into 3: High Museum, Academic Village, and 1880-2007 (for political, economic, social, and cultural background)
  • You are to store your information accordingly – create subfolders as needed.

If outside of Architecture Building, you are not automatically connected to COA network, and you should refer to the COA OIT manual: http://www.coa.gatech.edu/resources/studentsr/ITSolutionsStudent.pdf

You can also download files (but not upload) that are on network from CoA website:
  • Go to http://www.coa.gatech.edu/
  • Click on the tab called "CoA Resources" and then to "For Students"
  • On the left column, expand the title called "Network Shortcuts" which will give you the links to all the folders on CoA network.
  • You will be asked to provide your username/password that you use to log into the computers in the building.
